The objective of the project is to design and develop an Underwater Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) for cleaning underwater solid waste.
This project aims to address environmental concerns related to water pollution and the accumulation of solid waste in aquatic ecosystems.
Mechanical Design:
The initial prototype is designed to have 4 thrust units. A pair each for vertical thrusting and another pair for horizontal thrusting.
The prototype is yet to be tested underwater.
Project Progress:
Development and Testing of Underwater thruster system.
Testing of Underwater Control Electronics.
Design of the ROV.
Thruster Test:
Thruster of different shapes and different number of blades are being tested. Including different brushless motors and electronics speed controllers are being tested for the best efficiency
Power Supply System tests are underway.
